Which files can I enhance?

M4A audio, and MP4, MOV and M4V video. Pick them from Files or from your photo library.

What does turning the background off do?

With the background on, ClarityME keeps a quieter version of the room so the recording still sounds natural. Off, you get the voice alone.

Where do enhanced files go?

Next to the original, with a new name — the original is never overwritten. If that folder cannot be written to, the file goes into the ClarityME folder in Files. Enhanced videos are also added back to your photo library.

How long does it take?

It depends on the length of the recording and your device. Everything runs on the iPhone itself, so newer devices are faster. You can cancel at any time.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Enhancement runs entirely on your device. Only purchases need a connection, and those go to Apple.

How many free enhancements do I get?

Five. After that you can unlock unlimited enhancements with a one-time purchase, or subscribe monthly.

How do I cancel the monthly plan?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose ClarityME.

I bought it on another device. How do I get it back?

Open the unlock screen and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account.

I have an offer code.

Tap Redeem Code on the unlock screen, or redeem the Apple offer link you received, then return to ClarityME.

What does it need to run?

iOS 17 or later, on iPhone or iPad.
